Have you watched Tanah Surga...Katanya? Okay, surely, i suggest you to watch and enjoy the film thoroughly. Directed by Herwin Novianto, this film can bring us to know more about our lovely country, Indonesia. When i watch it, my nationalism is renascent perfectly. Over there, the film show us about the thing that doesn’t familiar around us. Release in 2012, this drama is choosing to the best cinema on Indonesian Film Festival. Danial Rifki, as the film writer, write with different perspective about nationalism, the creative one that actually guide us to be there, in the film story. It teach us how to pretend our country, our decision.

                “Whatever will be,
don’t ever lost your love feel to this country.” One of Hasyim word, who is a volunteer former of Indonesia-Malaysia Confrontation, 1965, to his dearly grandchild, Salman. After his lovely wife passed away, he take a decision that will not getting married again and live with his an only son who also widower like him, Haris, also his grandchilds, Salman and Salina. Live on border area between Indonesia-Malaysia truly has the self-problem, because this area still predominance of backwardness in national development and economic growth. The frontiersman must battling for defend their own life, also Hasyim family, however his loyalty for the nation and country too high, it made him to stay.

                Haris, Hasyim’s son, choosing that to live in Malaysia because in his opinion, Malaysia gives more expectations for the future. He also mean that to ask his family to move into Malaysia, also his father. But, finally just Haris and his daughter, Salina, move into Malaysia without Hasyim and Salman.

                Astuti, the new teacher who be there without plan. She teach at the school whish want to collapse because has no function till one year. After that, dr. Anwar, a young doctor comes to the society because he can not compete with another best dosctor in the city. Salman feels happily with the comings of the new teacher, Astuti, and dr. Anwar who is been called dr. Intel by the society. It’s new to know that Hasyim gets the disease which danger for his life and dr. Intel hopes that Hasyim must bring to take a medicinal treatment which more suitable. Because of that, Salman try hard to complete the requirement in his journey, and 400 ringgit is the money that needed. One day, when Salina with her father are be in Malaysia, the disease in suffering by Hasyim is recrudescent. Poor Salman, he really confused about the situation and call dr. Intel. Salman and dr. Intel bring Hasyim to theb hospital, when they in trip the gasoline which be in boat deasel that they used was empty. In the middle trip, Hasyim passed away.

                Tanah Surga...Katanya, is the best one to watch from Indonesia.This film isn’t just tell a story, there are also touch about political perspective, an actual case in our country. I think this film must be watch for all indonesian. Why? More lesson that can not we get from antoher film, an amzing film.

                Actually, i love the film perfectly and i suggest you to try to watch this film.
